Sometimes you just need to dive in to get yourself motivated, to make a start and hope that once the wheels have started to turn then creativity will flow.
For years, I have admired the artwork of Edouard Cortez so this week I shall be attempting to give my photographs a feel of his work. As it has been raining this past couple of evenings I have been out looking for suitable scenes to work on. Here is my first venture into Cortez’s beautiful style.
As the evenings are drawing in I hope to catch the shops still open with, hopefully, more people on the streets. Couple that with rain or very recent rainfall and I’ll be out with my camera capturing the rich reflections of the lights from the shop windows reflecting on the wet floor.
On walkabout in Snowdonia. I’ve been staying for a couple of days near the beautiful village of Maentwrog, walking in and around Ffestiniog, Llandecwyn and Ceunant Llennyrch (See screenshot at the bottom).
I’m planning on staying out on walkabout as long as I can before the anticipated call to Stay Indoors, Avoid Gatherings, Don’t Travel and the dreaded Self Isolate (yuk).
All the photographs were taken with my Samsung phone camera and edited using Snapseed. I used another app, Seek, to help me identify plants and Lichens.
